Janmasthtami in Vrindavan/India

Sri Radha-Raman manifestation

The Deity of Sri Radha-Raman was manifested from one of Gopala Bhatta Gosvami’s shalagram-shilas (Damodara), on the full moon day (Purnima), 15th day of the month of Vaishaka (April-May) in 1542.
Each year the manifestation is being celebrated. The deity Radha-Raman is bathed in panchamrita with over 1000 litres of milk and other auspicious items.
In the picture you see Swami Padmanab Goswami and his son Chandra bathing the Deity.
