Outfit for Casual Dinners aboard the AIDA

Although I should update my capsule wardrobe with autumn stuff I have to give my summer bits and pieces  a last chance for this year. Yes, right  you are, we will be going on holidays. On the AIDA which is a German cruiseboat. https://www.aida.de

Ok, in the land of ALDI, http://www.aldi.de, and LIDL, http://www.lidl.de, they have to have an equivalent on sea.  That is our AIDA. All inclusive, good quality. Something that you can affoard  even if you have lost half your fortune on playing cars, yes cars, not cards. VW I mean not Poker. Sh.. happens. Well and now I am going to pack.

And how easy is this nowadays since I just have to choose from my photos a couple of outfits that I think are appropriate.

And from my beauty rack I will choose this one, Silver nail polish from CHANEL which has been waiting for ages to come to new glory. 

Smart white blouse from my capsule wardrobe

A white blouse goes with anything be it Blue, Red, Brown or whatever your wardrobe offers you. Just add some nice accessories like a matching belt and one of your necklaces which are hidden in some drawers who knows where to it . And maybe you find a perfume which you haven't used for ages in your bathroom closet. Mine was this one, CHANEL. As you can see still half full. Now I have to spray it on to make some room for a Christmas present. Hint, hint...

Smart Outfit with Skirt

Ok I am invited for lunch today so I will wear a skirt and now that I have my outfits  ready there is just one question which skirt. Ok I decided for the black one. Now whats to go with? 

No sandals today, too cold  here.  But  thats no problem. No silver ballerinas either but black shoes. 

Ok I made up my mind. The third one will do. Not  too glittery for midday. 

And since I had a thorough look at my scent collection I decided for a fresh Hermes Eau de Collogne called Green Orange, Orange Verte. Still more than half full.

Now the lunch can be served. What do you think.

What shall I wear today

No big deal for me just take any of my photo cards and I am done. Ok maybe I need different shoes according  to the "Sauwetter" as we say over here in Germany. (Yes Sau really means sow, pig,  swine)

On the other hand there is a couple of pairs in my shoe closet which have been neglected over the last years and are considered to come to glory in my new outfit project. We will see. Now for today I shuffled the stack and chose 2 cards which are these:

Jeans, pink  cashmere cardigan and either a tshirt or the white blouse. Don't really know, have to try.

And I made my nails new yesterday with my pink nail lacquer from Chanel which I  love and gives me the princess feeling as it was so expensive  compared to my other cheap nail lacquers. But once in a while you have to treat yourself, true?

Now, you tell me which outfit you like better, please.

How to combine the smartest outfit

You mean there is no need for my creative ideas.

Yes and still when it comes again to hitting the road for a little or bigger trip you will find me right in front of my wardrobe, also in front of my shoe  closet  not knowing what to take along. Not that I didn't have enough. Actually the contrary is true. And as so many people right now talk about a "Capsule" wardrobe I had this splendid idea of preparing my own Paris Fashion Show right here in my home office.
Now how does it work. First you must get the stuff out of their hidden places so you can SEE  them. What have you got. That is put all your jeans, pants, trousers, shorts,etc. on one pile.  Same to the blouses, tshirts, sweaters, cardigans, etc. next to it. Now come the shoes, boots, slippers, sneakers , etc., then  the accessoires, scarfs, handbags, belts, a loadful of other things will follow once you get started. You will see. Up to here it is hard work. Now comes the fun part.
Set up  your favorite jeans on the floor ad any tshirt to it. And any shoes. Take a picture with your phone. Look at it. ...... Oh yes, a belt would look good with it and the cardigan there. Take a picture. Or is the Sweater better with it? Take a picture, it will tell you. How about a different belt? Or the scarf that I bought in last year's sale and never wore it. Take a picture. The scarf is ok but the tshirt could be replaced by a blouse.  Decorate it. Take a picture. Wow brilliant, but my black skirt would look good with it too. Try it. Replace the jeans. Take a picture. Different shoes. Picture. Ad some jewellery.  Where the hell are all those nice necklaces that I bought over the last couple of years on different markets or Etsy shops? Add, take a picture.
Try the same tops with different bottoms, like blue jeans, white jeans, black pants, black skirt. Take pictures. Look. Now same bottoms with different tops, like tshirt, blouse, sweater, cardigan. Picture, picture, picture...
And, and, and, .... Ok now for the trip  to come soon, that is 4 days. I need 4 outfits. Easy, peasy just choose  from the pics you have taken, baff, baff, baff.
And tomorrow I will wear my outfit on picture No. 7, along with my Chanel No. 5.
