Skiing in France

French slopes are wonderful. Every night  they are being prepared for us skiers. Fast Diesels work all night long to get the slopes nice and smooth so everybody can enjoy their holidays. Even little kids are save and best trained Ski instructors teach them in either  English or French. Since the und resorts are rather high up in the mountains , starting in 2000 m as  is La Plagne, where wie ski the weather is fine with lots of snow over the complete Season.
The Resort where we go is called Le France. Yes LE France...... Whereas  usually you call the country France what in French is LA France. But the Building is called LE France. Maybe that is the Word for building which is LE Batiment. LE Batiment France.

Skiing in the French Alps

Little kids learn how to ski right below us. I am watching from up the 8th floor were we rented an apartment in La Plagne, France. This huge apartment house is not the nicest from outside but the views are spectacular and so easy to ski there. Out of bed, down to floor 0, skilockers there, put on skis and up up on the slopes. This is in La Plagne Centre, France. 666 km from where we live. A full days ride.
